Clinic Grant

In keeping with our WCDDP mandate to encourage and foster the growth of Dressage through the formative years. We are proud to announce that we have two WCDDP Clinic Grants being offered in April, 2024.

The Grants will be for a fully paid spot, one in Langley (April 13th & 14th) and one in Prince George (April 11th & 12th) for two deserving youth.

​

These funds were raised through our “Dressage is Fun” night hosted at the lovely Windsum Enterprises (Langley, BC) in November of 2023. The support from our Dressage community was beyond what we had hoped for. The generosity of the community is now going to help facilitate two young riders in being able to participate in these clinics.

To apply for the WCDDP 2024 Jaimey Irwin Clinic Grant please read the full rules below:

​

  • The Applicant must be a member of WCDDP

  • The Applicant will be still responsible for travel, stabling, meals, etc. Only the clinic spot is being awarded.

  • The Applicant must write a letter to WCDDP stating why they believe they are deserving of the grant. The letter must include the level at which they are training and their goals for the upcoming year.

  • The Applicant must write a letter after the clinic for us to share with the members about their experience and what they were able to take away from the clinic within two weeks of participating at the clinic.

  • Deadline for submissions is March 1st, 2024
